DESCRIPTION:\n\nStupid Cancer’s newest program is Discussion Series: a mo
 nth-long deep dive into crucial AYA topics with weekly sessions. The first
  topic is Mental Health After Treatment. This series is limited to survivo
 rs and patients only.\n\nEach ninety-minute online workshop focuses on a d
 ifferent aspect of the overall topic\, featuring a presentation and small 
 group discussions. Attendees are encouraged to participate in all four ses
 sions but are not required to do so. Attendance at each session will be ca
 pped at 25 participants\, with priority to those who register for all four
  weeks.\n\nDiscussion Four: “The Long Haul” with Sh’nai Simmons\, Ph
 D\, LMHC\n\nEven if your cancer is many years behind you\, survivorship la
 sts a lifetime. Your feelings about your cancer experience may change or d
 evelop over time. Intense “scanxiety” may crop up each year\; every ac
 he\, pain\, or allergy symptom might set off alarm bells. And for those on
  ongoing therapies or living with metastatic disease\, cancer will never b
 e “over.” This discussion is an opportunity for adolescent and young a
 dult cancer patients and survivors to discuss how they manage their long-t
 erm mental health and learn coping strategies for the long haul.\n\nClick
