SUMMARY:Fibrolamellar Patient & Research Summit 2024
DESCRIPTION:\nFCF hosted its first Fibrolamellar Patient &amp\; Research Su
 mmit in spring 2022\, thanks to the generous support of the Chan Zuckerber
 g Initiative. We are pleased to hold this event again in June 2024.\n\n\n\
 nThis interactive 1 ½ day summit will be a collaborative working session 
 involving fibrolamellar patients\, caregivers\, clinicians and researchers
 . It will be an opportunity for the broad FLC community to learn about res
 earch and treatment progress\, share perspectives and identify opportuniti
 es for improvement. The key goals of the 2024 event will be to:\n\n\n\n\nI
 ntroduce - bring together representatives of all key fibrolamellar constit
 uencies to help build mutual understanding among stakeholders\n\n\n\nEduca
 te - communicate and answer questions about the overall FLC research agend
 a as well as specific research efforts\n\n\n\nImprove - identify issues an
 d potential opportunities the community should address.\n\n\n\n\nTimeframe
  and structure:\n\n\n\nThe meeting will begin at 5:00 pm on Sunday\, June 
 9 with a welcome reception\, dinner and keynote talks.\n\n\n\nMonday\, Jun
 e 10 will be a day-long session running from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. It wil
 l include a series of interactive presentations\, panel discussions and ro
 und table sessions on important topics. A brainstorming session in the aft
 ernoon aims to identify opportunities to improve the fibrolamellar researc
 h landscape.\n\n\n\nThe full agenda can be read here.\n\n\n\nBrainstorming
  session at the 2022 Summit\n\n\n\nAttendance:\n\n\n\nBoth in-person and o
 n-line participation will be possible for the Sunday keynote and the Monda
 y sessions focused on research and emerging treatments. Those portions of 
 the event will also be recorded to allow community members who cannot atte
 nd the event (either in Connecticut or via Zoom) to view the proceedings a
 t a later time. The patient and caregiver panel discussions\, as well as t
 he brainstorming session in the afternoon will not be streamed or recorded
