Dr. Jaffee is Professor and Deputy Director of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD). She has been called “A Cancer Immunotherapy Visionary” because of her pioneering role in the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines. Dr. Jaffee also has helped guide cancer strategy at the national level. She is a Past President of the American Association for Cancer Research (a one-year, peer-elected post), helped shape the Cancer Moonshot program, and chaired the President’s Cancer Panel (2023-2025). Dr. Jaffee trained and continues to mentor members of the outstanding FLC research team at Johns Hopkins.
