Please consider joining CancerCare for their third annual Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Chronicles!
AYA Cancer Chronicles is a 4-part workshop series in April designed to highlight AYA Cancer Awareness week. Each workshop will have a unique topic and 4-5 panelists. The panelists will consist of two of CancerCare’s oncology social workers who will serve as the moderators, and 2-3 AYA clients who can speak about their experiences on the particular topic.
The goal of this program is to provide a safe platform for AYA clients to share their narratives, while bringing awareness to the specific challenges AYA cancer patients and caregivers face daily. This year’s workshops include:
- Dating, Intimacy & Family Planning – Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET
- Post Treatment & Survivorship – Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET
- Living with Metastatic Cancer – Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET
- Caregiver Communication – Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET
