Please join the first of five Perkatory events hosted by Elephants and Tea on topics concerning adolescent and young adult cancer. These events are open to anyone that would like to hear stories from the AYA cancer community (including patients, survivors, caregivers, co-survivors, loved ones, nonprofit professionals, medical professionals, etc.).
This first event focuses on loneliness and isolation.
How has cancer been isolating for you? What does that feel like? What would help with the feelings of isolation? What do you think makes cancer feel so lonely? Has the loneliness faded with time or grown stronger?
