Dr. Gordan is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF; San Francisco, CA). A true physician-scientist, his work spans discovery science to patient care. His FLC research includes contributions to understanding molecular mechanisms, discovering new therapies, characterizing the patient population, and conducting clinical trials. He and fellow MSAB member Dr. Allison O’Neill co-led the development of the “Clinical Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Fibrolamellar Carcinoma” (Hepatology, 2026).
