Has your life been touched by fibrolamellar? Did you benefit from talking with someone who had been through their own FLC journey? Do you understand the questions and concerns someone might experience because of your own experiences with FLC? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be uniquely qualified to give back to the FLC community by becoming a FibroConnect mentor.
After completing the form below, a member of the FibroConnect team will reach out to confirm your interest and discuss the specifics of the program. Once confirmed as a mentor, we will connect you with a peer who shares similar experiences and topic interests. All information you provide will be kept confidential and is not shared with anyone except for the FibroConnect team without your permission.
Criteria for becoming a peer mentor
- Be at least one year past your or the patient’s initial treatment
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Be able to listen with empathy without promoting a particular agenda, doctor, or type of treatment
- Be willing to commit to an active match for at least three months.
